Introduction
We are the Episcopal Church of Saints Peter and John in Downtown Auburn of Central New York. Our place of worship is of stone structure and was originally built in 1811. The one fact the really shows the church having deep roots here is that this beautiful architecture is actually the oldest church in the city of Auburn.

"Church" is often described as the building or the physical place of worship. The Bible provides a different description, which we tend to follow here. In the Bible, "church" is defined as the people who are gathered together in worship and fellowship.
Our worship is a more traditional style (yes, that means organ with hymns, a bunch of readings, and the squat exercises of kneel-sit-stand-repeat), but we enjoy bringing in various forms of praise and worship from other denominations, cultures, and beliefs. There is no right or wrong way to worship because Jesus has said "where two or three are gathered in My Name, I will be with you." Therefore -- Regardless of the style of worship, we are each from different roots gathering together as an imperfect church to worship a Perfect God.

Our church, unlike the building, may be small in size, but full of love and strong in faith. We spread our branches into the community to share God's Love and welcome all as Christ has done for us. We also help and guide each other as family to strengthen the trunk and the roots of our church.
A Glimpse of our Tree
